My Mic Pro ("the App") is a real-time audio utility provided by The My Mic Pro Team. We are committed to protecting the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information, the permissions we require, and our use of third-party advertising and billing services.
1. Core Functionality & Microphone Privacy
Our primary service is to provide a live megaphone experience. We operate under a strict No Data Collection policy for our core features.
- Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO): This permission is used solely to capture audio for real-time playback to connected speakers.
- Ephemeral Processing: All audio captured by the microphone is processed exclusively in the device's volatile memory (RAM).
- No Recording or Storage: Voice data is NEVER recorded, saved to the device's permanent storage, or transmitted to any external servers.
2. Third-Party Services & Data Collection
2.1 Advertising (Google AdMob)
To keep core features free, we display advertisements provided by Google AdMob. This includes App Open ads, Interstitial ads (shown when stopping a session), and Rewarded ads (which grant a 30-minute "Pro Pass").
- Data Collected: Google AdMob may collect information such as your IP address, general app usage statistics, and the Android Advertising ID (AD_ID) for personalized advertising and frequency capping.
- User Consent (GDPR/CCPA/DMA): We implement the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request consent from users in regulated regions. You can manage your preferences at any time within the App settings.
2.2 In-App Purchases & Financial Data (Google Play Billing)
The App uses Google Play Billing to process voluntary tips and permanent "Pro" status upgrades.
- Payment Processing: All financial transactions are processed securely by Google. We do not collect, see, or store your credit card numbers or sensitive financial information.
- Purchase History: The App retrieves your purchase history via Google Play solely to verify and sync your "Pro" status. This is considered "Financial Info / Purchase History" under Google Play's Data Safety guidelines.

3. Required Device Permissions
- RECORD_AUDIO: Captures mic input for real-time playback.
- BLUETOOTH_CONNECT: Required to route audio to Bluetooth speakers.
- BILLING: Processes tips and "Pro" status via Google Play.
- AD_ID: Used by AdMob for relevant advertising and frequency capping.
- FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MICROPHONE: Crucial for maintaining the audio stream when the app is in the background or the screen is locked.
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Displays the active microphone status notification (Android 13+).
- WAKE_LOCK / INTERNET / ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Prevents CPU sleep during sessions and loads ads/consent forms.
4. Data Safety Summary
- No Personal Data: We do not collect names, email addresses, or phone numbers.
- Encryption: Data handled by Google SDKs is encrypted in transit using secure protocols.
- No Data Sharing: We do not sell or share user data with any parties other than the service providers (Google AdMob/Billing) mentioned above.
5. Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
